Choc-orange keto bliss balls



Low in carbs, these easy keto energy balls make a perfect better-for-you snack or sweet treat.

 

8 Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 300g (2 cups) macadamia nuts
  • 120g (1 1/3 cups) desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp xylitol
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 30g butter, melted, cooled
  • Pinch of sea salt

4 Method Steps

Step 1

Place the chia seeds occasionally, until water has been absorbed and mixture is gel-like.


Step 2

Place the macadamias, 1 cup of the coconutxylitolcacao powderzestbutter, chia mixture and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Process until finely chopped and well combined.

Step 3

Transfer nut mixture to a bowl. Roll level tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. Place remaining coconut on a plate. Roll balls in coconut to lightly coat.

Step 4

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
